GeistLanding.net

We, at GLNA (Geist Landing Neighborhood Association), strive to maintain a safe, comfortable, and crime-free neighborhood.  We maintain and make decisions on the entrances, snow removal, lighting, out of compliance residences, and security.

Got a Problem?

Did the trash man forget to pick up your trash?   Is there a disabled or illegally parked car on your street?   Do you have a pothole that needs filled?  Do you have a problem with a stray animal?   These are all problems that the city can help you with.  There is a special service sponsored by the MAC (Mayors Action Center).   The service is now called "Request Indy".
Click here to make a request online, or you can call the MAC at 327-4MAC.

Looking for the number of someone else?  Here is a list of important numbers that are handy to have.

Recycling Information

Recycling has been a much requested topic of discussion in the neighborhood lately.   Therefore, we decided a special page on the website would help spread the information.   Please read here to find links to the city's website and other information that we have collected about recycling.

Pond Information

The topic of pond maintenance and care has been regularly discussed in the newsletter, but many people still have questions and concerns.   We decided to include the information here so that it would be available to anyone on the website. The ponds are NOT part of the Geist Landing Neighborhood Association responsibilities.  They are generally maintained by the neighbors that live around them.

Email Newsletter

In the interest of saving money on postage and printing (our biggest business expenses), we would like to email the newsletter.   If you would like to receive the newsletter in PDF format through email, please send a request to Wes Hamilton.
